All of us here at Warwickshire GAA send our sincere condolences upon the sad news of the passing of Tony Donoghue.

A native of Tyrone and a Vice-President and underage county coach of Warwickshire GAA, Tony was instrumental in bringing Gaelic Games to countless youngsters across Birmingham through the James Connolly’s club, his enthusiasm and positivity an absolute constant. We send our deepest condolences to Tony’s wife Kathleen, his children Adrian, Martin, Tracey and Anthony and his grandchildren.

Tony’s funeral will take place at St. Augustine’s Church, Avenue Road, Handsworth B21 8ED. Receival will be on Thursday 1 February at 4pm, with the funeral on Friday 2 February at 10.00am followed by burial at Handsworth Cemetery and a gathering afterwards at The St. Francis Centre (Wretham Rd, B19 1ED) to celebrate Tony’s life.

The family has requested that to help them understand the number of people attending the funeral and afterwards at St Francis, please complete this questionnaire. Parking is very limited around St. Augustine’s church, so please plan in advance and keep parking space around the church for people with mobility difficulties.
