Congratulations to the LGFA in Britain who marked 50 years of the LGFA with a tournament at the weekend at Páirc na hÉireann.
Teams from across the province joined our own Warwickshire teams to compete in the 9s competition on Saturday with Gloucestershire taking the overall title in the final against Hertfordshire, with Lancashire claiming the Shield.
As summarised by Sinead Coyle, Britain LGFA President: “On behalf of myself and all the executive of Britain LGFA, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who have contributed to making today possible. No doubt there will be challenges ahead, but here’s to the next fifty years of growth, achievement, and camaraderie. Our future is bright.”
